The statute of limitations for most (but not all!) breach of contract claims in Massachusetts is six years or less.
Many nonprofits have a fairly regular need for the review or drafting of contracts and leases. At Pathway Law, we will work hard to understand your needs, so that the contracts and leases we draft for you are tailored specifically to your organization.
Nonprofits are often presented with lengthy commercial leases containing a large number of irrelevant sections. Others are presented with leases that are far too short to adequately protect their interests. We carefully identify the important provisions that our clients need in their leases based on their specific business. We draft, revise and negotiate lease terms with the landlords to ensure that our clients receive the best possible lease.
Contracts provide the general framework for how many nonprofits engage with third-parties. From consultants and contractors to vendors and suppliers, nonprofits need well-drafted contracts to minimize risk. Some clients have the skills in-house to draft many of these documents, and they use our legal services as a review to ensure they are protected. Other nonprofit clients rely more on our firm to provide the initial drafts of these documents. Either way, Pathway Law provides the client with exactly what they need at a reasonable cost.
